  • What is the transition bag used for?

    • These are used to arrange each participant's equipment in the transition area.They are compulsory and allow you to store all the clothes and accessories you need in them for each stage of the triathlon.
  • How do the bags work during the race?

    • During check-in, put your cycling bag and running bag in their corresponding places.
    • In the cycle bag, you must put everything you need for this stage (helmet, glasses, cycling clothes if you are going to change, shoes gloves, gels, water-bottles, etc.).
    • In the running bag, you must put the shoes, gels, cap or clothes if you are going to change after the cycling stage.
    • After the swimming stage, you must pick up the cycling bag and put the equipment you have used for swimming (neoprene, cap and goggles) into it When you are ready for the cycling, put your bag back in its place and go to your cycle.
    • After the cycling stage, you must pick up the running bag and put the cycling equipment (cycling shoes, helmet, etc.) into it.
    • When you are ready for the running, put your bag back in its place and go to your run.
    • Swimming - cycling transition (T1):

    • Enter the transition area
    • Pick up your cycling bag
    • Change
    • Store your swimming equipment in the bag
    • Leave the bag and a volunteer will hang it back
    • Go to the cycle
    • Cycling - running transition (T2):

    • Enter the transition area
    • Leave your cycle at its numbered place
    • Pick up your running bag
    • Change
    • Store your cycling equipment in the bag
    • Leave the bag and a volunteer will hang it back
    • Go to the running start
  • Are the transition bags compulsory?

    • Yes, as all the participants must store the equipment used in each sector in them.
  • What equipment must I carry in the bags for check-in?

    • The cycling transition bag with its numbered sticker on the outside and with the equipment you will need:
    • COMPULSORY:

    • helmet, cycling shoes and bib. Remember that it is not permitted to swim with the bib on, so you must leave it in the cycling bag.
    • OPTIONAL:

    • cycling clothes (if you prefer to change), gels, water-bottles, sunglasses, sun cream, etc.
    • The cycling running transition bag with its numbered sticker on the outside and with the equipment you will need:
    • COMPULSORY:

    • running shoes.
    • OPCTONAL:

    • cap, sun cream, socks, sunglasses, etc.
  • Can I access my equipment on race day?

    • No. You must leave the equipment the day before as on Sunday you cannot access the bags.
    • You will only have access to the cycle in order to place the water-bottles, helmet, shoes, etc. on it.
  • Can I leave the air pump to inflate the tyres in one of the transition bags?

    • No. You must leave it in your own rucksack which will be the one you leave at the cloakroom.
  • Do the relay teams have transition bags?

    • Yes, they have, but they may already have been changed at the moment of the changeover.
