Swimmers start the Challenge Gunsan-Saemangeum teams event at 7.45am. On exiting the water the swimmer must run through to transition and transfer the timing chip to the cyclist who will be waiting by their bike rack.
After the tag (or transfer of the timing chip) the cyclist may then unrack their bike and head out of T1 observing the same instructions and rules as the individual competitors. The same drafting rules also apply.
On completing the cycle leg, team competitors will re-enter T2, rack their bike and pass on the timing chip to the runner, who is waiting by the bike rack, the runner starts their run. Please note that team cyclists may not take their bikes from transition at this point. For security reasons, all bikes will be racked and may only be collected after T2 is closed.
